The Nassau County Bar Association will be hosting a free mortgage legal consultation clinic on February 6 from 3 to 6 p.m. at its headquarters, located at 15 West Street in Mineola.
Lawyers will be on hand to give one-to-one advice to Nassau County homeowners about foreclosure issues or questions. Counselors from the Nassau County Homeownership Center, La Feruza Unida and Community Development Corporation of Long Island will also be available to assist. Additionally, attorneys from Nassau/Suffolk Law Services will be present to help residents.
Reservations are required. Please call (516) 747-4070 to reserve your spot. Attorneys fluent in Spanish will be at the event. Bi-lingual attorneys in the following language will also be made available upon request: Chinese, Hindi, American Sign Language, Haitian Creole, Korean, Russian and many others.
