Fundraiser for Lynette Alicea

Join friends, family, and supporters on April 5 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. at Aura to help raise money for Lynette Alicea, who is current battling stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. The event will feature live music.

The following is written by Lynette on the event’s website:

“I am a 39 year young wife, mother, daughter, student, lover of life who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma to my brain and bone marrow.  I have undergone surgery for removal of the primary tumor, removal of all my lymph nodes in my left groin and radiation to my whole brain.  Testing + for theBRAF V600E mutation allows me to take a drug protocol which improves my survival.  Currently I am pursuing all modalities/ treatments nutritionally, alternatively and holistically that has been studied extensively and will enhance my healing to beat this cancer! My belief is that the body works as a body, mind, spirit entity.  All things are possible and I have Hope and Faith in my healing.  I thank you from my heart!”
