As part of the Thursday evening program, the East Meadow Public Library's young adult room will be hosting a homemade ice cream workshop on July 28 at 8 p.m. Tweens and teens entering grades 6 through 12 will have a chance to make their own ice cream. There is a $2 materials fee.
