The Amateur Observers' Society of New York will host "International Observe the Moon Night" at the East Meadow Public Library on Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. Guests will be able to look at the moon through binoculars and telescopes.
The rain date is Oct. 9. This event will be canceled if there are clouds or rain.
