Film expert John Carpenter will host a day of Irish themed films from the 1920s and 30s on March 16 at the East Meadow Library. The following is the schedule of movies:
- 10 a.m. - The Shamrock and the Rose
- 11:30 a.m. - Hangman's House
- 1:15 p.m. - Riley the Cop
- 2:45 p.m. - The Informer
- 4:30 p.m. - Kennedy the Cop vs. the Our Gang
- 6:15 p.m. - The Public Enemy
- 8 p.m. - The Cohens and the Kellys in Trouble.
