The Amateur Observers' Society of New York holds their Young Astronomer Program on several weekends (Nov. 19, Dec. 17, January 14, Feburary 25 and March 24) throughout the winter at 1 p.m. This program gives children an opportunity to learn more about astronomy while sharing their love with peers.
Registration is required, call the library at 516.794.2570 beginning on Oct. 14 This program is for children 6 to 13 years old.
