The Town of Hempstead will be holding several arts & crafts sessions for children at local parks, as part of its children’s activities series.
The spring program will run at Veterans Memorial Park in East Meadow and runs on Saturdays from April 14 to June 2. Two sessions are available – 10 to 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This program is free for TOH residents.
Children can only be registered by calling the individual park. Age minimums may vary and proof of age is required.

Registration for the spring session begins on April 9 at 9 a.m., in person or by phone. Parents can call Veterans Memorial Park at (516) 296-7791.
