Friday Night Promenade in Garden City July 18

Enjoy hospitality Garden City style every week this summer as the village’s “Friday Night Promenade” initiative continues on Seventh Street Friday, July, 18.

Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. Seventh Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic and parking beginning at 5:45 p.m.

This week, musical entertainment will once again be provided by the band Fivestone, performing hit songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

They’ll be plenty of activities for the kids too, including free balloon art and face painting care of balloon twister John Reid and his team.

Tables and chairs will be set up in the street for additional seating and outdoor dining and dinner specials will be offered at local eateries along Seventh Street.

The promenade runs every Friday night through September so mark your calendars!
