Fundraiser for Farmingdale Grad's Son
Farmingdale High School Class of '97 hope a carnival on Sunday, Aug. 3, will help offset medical bills for the son of a classmate.
Farmingdale High School’s Class of ‘97 are hoping a carnival Sunday, Aug. 3, at Allen Park in Farmingdale will help offset the medical expenses for the son of a fellow classmate.
Taking place from 12-4 p.m. the fundraiser is for Bryant, the son of a Farmingdale alum Jeffrey Hennessy. After 3-year-old Bryant was diagnosed with Leukemia in April, a few classmates began organizing an event to help raise money for Bryant’s care.
One conversation led to another, and now a friend, Erick Mauro and his wife Jen, who own Creative Games, a Hicksville-based event company, are hosting and donating the carnival at Allen Park.
