Hannon's Help For Consumers and Taxpayers

Please join Senator Hannon on Wednesday, September 10, 6:00pm to 8:00pm, in the Levittown Public Library (1 Bluegrass Lane, Levittown), to learn about services provided by the government and organizations to assist state taxpayers.

At this event, you will hear from the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, Nassau County Office of Consumer Protection and The Bethpage Credit Union.

Speakers will share information on free tax preparation services, consumer advocate services, benefit programs, and fraud prevention.

With these difficult economic times, many people have found themselves in financial situations they never thought possible, and don’t know what options are available to them and/or who can help them.

The seminar will include a short overview of organizations and in what areas they are able to help the public.

The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.
