The Atlantic Hurricane Season lasts from June 1st through November 30th.
I’m partnering with County Legislator Dennis Dunne and the Nassau County Office of Emergency Management to bring you a free, informative meeting with OEM representatives and local emergency personnel to learn how you can easily prepare your home, family and pets for hurricane season.
The important event is taking place on Thursday, September 4, 2014, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Island Trees High School (59 Straight Lane, Levittown).
The best way for you to protect your property and loved ones during a major storm or emergency is to be prepared ahead of time!
