Man Broke Into Uniondale Home: Police
He was in the kitchen when police arrived, police say.

UNIONDALE, NY — A Hempstead man was arrested after Nassau police said he broke into a Uniondale home on Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to Larboard Court for a burglary in process at 9:55 a.m., police said. Officers found Kennon O. Knight, 38, inside the kitchen and arrested him without incident, police said.
Knight was charged with second-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. His arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday at First District Court, at 99 Main St., Hempstead.
