Man Dies After Hit By Unmarked Police Vehicle In Uniondale: Officials
The Nassau County Homicide Squad is investigating the incident, police said.

UNIONDALE, NY — A man died after he was hit Saturday by an unmarked police vehicle in Uniondale, according to authorities, who said a homicide investigation was underway.
The incident occurred just before 9:30 p.m., when the 46-year-old pedestrian was trying to cross Front Street at New York Avenue and was struck by the Nassau County police vehicle, a news release from the County of Nassau Police Department said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with multiple injuries, where he was pronounced dead, according to police, who said officers were also transported to hospitals for minor injuries.
