Man Shot, Killed Near Nassau House Party: Police

WESTBURY, NY — Nassau County police are investigating a murder that occurred in Westbury early Sunday morning.

According to police, officers responded to the parking lot of 445 Union Ave. for a report of a person shot. When the officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.

Police say the place where the man was found was close to a house party that happened Saturday night. The investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the man has not yet been released.
