Nassau County Approves Funds For New East Meadow Playground

On Monday, the Nassau County Legislature approved a suite of Community Revitalization Projects. Among them was a new playground for an East Meadow school.

County legislators approved $67,000 to help purchase and install new playground equipment at Bowling Green Elementary School in East Meadow.

“These projects benefit not just our districts aesthetically, but also the quality of life for our residents, in specific school children," said Legislator John Ferretti. "By giving them an updated place to play and spend time, we are fostering a good community and a friendly environment.”
