Nassau Couple Robbed Dunkin' At Knifepoint: Police

Police said one of them robbed the store and the other drove the getaway car. They're both facing first-degree robbery charges.

WESTBURY, NY — A Hicksville couple were arrested Tuesday after police said they robbed a Dunkin' at knifepoint in March.

According to police, at 6:20 a.m. on March 21, Vincent Traficante, 34, entered the Dunkin' at 840 Carman Ave. in Westbury. Police said he demanded money from the register and pulled out a large knife. The 30-year-old man who was working at the store complied, police said, and Traficante fled the store and got into the passenger side of a Honda Civic driven by Marina Tsoukalis, 32.

After an investigation, police arrested Traficante and Tsoukalis, who both reside on Holman Boulevard in Hicksville.

Both Traficante and Tsoukalis are charged with first-degree robbery. They are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
