Nassau Man Attacked Officers After Domestic Abuse Arrest: Police
Police say Miguel Jimenez head butted one officer and kicked another during his arrest.

WESTBURY, NY — Nassau County police say a man who was arrested for a domestic dispute attacked and injured two officers after he was taken into custody on Tuesday.
According to police, officers responded to a home on Gordon Avenue in Westbury at 10 p.m. Tuesday for a domestic incident. The officers determined that Miguel Jimenez, 46, was involved in a domestic dispute with a 49-year-old woman, police said. The officers found Jimenez hiding in a closet in the basement of the home, police said. Jimenez was immediately combative, police said, and the officers placed him under arrest.
While he was being brought out of the house, police say Jimenez became more combative and began to flail his legs, and then head butted one officer and kicked the other. Jimenez was then put in the squad car and taken for processing, police said.
