Nassau Police ID Man Shot To Death Near House Party
Police say the man was found in a nearby parking, and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
WESTBURY, NY — Nassau County police have identified the man who was shot to death near a house party in Westbury last week.
According to police, officers responded to the parking lot of 445 Union Ave. for a report of a person shot at 1:05 a.m. on Aug. 16. When the officers arrived, they found Alexis Gonzalez-Sanchez, 27, of Melville, who had been shot. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.
Police say the place where Gonzalez-Sanchez was found was close to a house party that happened Saturday night. The investigation is ongoing.
