IF YOU ARE UNDER 16 AND LOVE LACROSSE, THEN THIS IS THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME!                   















   Some of the New York Lizards Professional Outdoor Lacrosse Team’s volunteer game day staff will be holding official open tryouts for candidates as regular Game Day NY Lizard Ballboys and Waterboys  at 2 locations.















Two locations were chosen for 2014 ,due to the overwhelming response last year. This year’s tryout sites  are  Eisenhower Park on Saturday April 5th promptly  from 10am-12 noon , registration begins at 9am.(Don’t be late!)















And at Peterkin Park on Sunday April 6th promptly  from 10am-12 noon , registration begins at 9am.(promptly!)















The cost to try out is 100% Free.















 Boys
from Nassau County  and Suffolk County and all over the 5 boroughs ,
wishing to be considered for the position as a Regular Volunteer Home
Field Game Day NY
Lizard Ballboy or Waterboy should show up accompanied with an adult in
order to be considered for the position. Tryouts will consist of some
important skill drills as well as other tasks deemed important to the responsibilities required for these positions.















Being
a regular Game Day NY Lizard Ballboy & Waterboy is hard work , but
one with a lot of benefits . Boys that eventually get chosen , get to
spend  some serious time with the Lizards players, coaches and staff.
You must be able to make NY Lizard Lacrosse home
practices on Thursday nights as well as most , if not all, of their
home games at James M. Shuart Stadium at Hofstra University (4/27,5/30, 6/21, 6/28, 7/3, 7/278, and 8/9). * the 7/27 game will be played at LaValle Stadium at Stony Brook University. We wish you luck and hope to see you there.















Tryout #1 - Saturday April 5th,  promptly  from 10am-12 noon , registration begins at 9am.

What to bring- An adult, parent or guardian (for legal reasons) AND 















 Your Equipment (helmet, mouthpiece, stick, pads, gloves, cup  and sneakers)                                          















 AND  PLEASE WEAR, SNEAKERS !!! NO CLEATS!!!!   SNEAKERS!!!! AND bring a positive, friendly, responsible attitude















Notes- Tryouts are done in almost all weather, cancellable only if there is very heavy rain or lightning
