Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Opens New Nassau County Location

The new center will treat adults and children for non-emergency medical needs, with X-rays, COVID-19 testing, and more.

EAST MEADOW, NY — Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care opened its newest center in East Meadow on Monday, offering non-emergency medical care for adults and children ages 6 months and older.

The center, located at 1900 Hempstead Turnpike in the Meadows Shopping Center, will treat patients for a variety of non-life-threatening health concerns.

Dr. Neal Shipley, medical director at Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care, said patients deserve quality, comprehensive care.

"This new center provides the East Meadow community with access to fast, reliable and convenient healthcare right in their neighborhood," Shipley said.

The clinic said it can treat conditions including upper respiratory infections, minor cuts, ear infections, sexually transmitted infections and fractures. X-rays, COVID-19 testing and flu vaccines also will be available on site, the center said.

The new location will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Holiday hours may vary.
