Police Searching For Man Who Robbed East Meadow Bank

Police say the man handed the teller a note demanding money and made off with the cash.

EAST MEADOW, NY — Nassau County police are searching for a man who robbed an East Meadow bank on Monday morning.

According to police, the man entered the TD Bank at 1600 Hempstead Turnpike at 9:15 a.m. He approached a teller and passed them a not demanding money. The teller gave him cash, and the man fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The robber was a black man, about 6 feet tall with an average build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black face mask.
