Police: Three Motorcyclists Hurt in High-Speed Crash
A 20-year-old man is in critical condition following accident on Wantagh State Parkway early Thursday.

Three motorcyclists were hurt, one critically, after they were ejected from their bikes on the Wantagh State Parkway early Thursday, State Police said.
According to police, the three motorcycles were traveling north on the parkway at a high rate of speed at 12:53 a.m. when they entered the exit ramp for the westbound Northern State Parkway in Westbury.
The first motorcyclist, 33-year-old Abbas Fakharikahaki, of Brooklyn, failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and was ejected from his 2012 Kawasaki, police said.

The second motorcyclist, 38-year-old Maciej Wasek, of Brooklyn, also failed to negotiate the curve and was ejected when his 2010 BMW overturned, police said.
The third motorcyclist, 20-year-old Jerry Delacruz, of Uniondale, then struck Wasek with his 2007 Yamaha.

Delacruz was also ejected from his bike. He is being treated for head trauma at Nassau University Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.
Fakharikahak is being treated for a ruptured spleen at Winthrop-University Hospital. Wasek suffered a broken leg and is being treated at NUMC.
Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to contact State Police at 631-756-3300.
