Otis Webb Brawley, M.D., FACP, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer and Executive Vice President of the American Cancer Society, is the next speaker for the Provocative Perspectives on Health Lecture Series, co-sponsored by New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and NYIT School of Health Professions.
Dr. Brawley is also the author of the book, How We Do Harm: A Doctor Breaks Ranks About Being Sick in America, which “exposes the underbelly of healthcare today- the overtreatment of the rich, the under treatment of the poor, the financial conflicts of interest that determine the care that physicians provide…”, and much more.
This event will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Riland Auditorium. Doors open for seating 3:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
