RUB BBQ Coming to East Meadow

Righteous Urban Barbecue (RUB) BBQ President Andrew recently announced that RUB BBQ, which is well known for it's Chelsea location, will be opening in East Meadow late next week, although the exact day has yet to be released by company officials.

This establishment, the first in a series of new branches expected to open around the tri-state area in the next two years, will feature 40 outdoor seats (in addition to the 140 indoor seats), four barbecue pits, 20 flat screen TVs, a 25-seat bar with 30 beers on tap and the same menu as its Chelsea sibling.

The location, which will be located at 2367 Hempstead Tpke., will be 500 square feet and will be able to seat 140 people at any time.

"We are excited to bring our award-winning BBQ to Long Island," Fischel said. "We are confident that Long Islanders are going to embrace [Chef] Paul's 'cue and that the location is going to be a must-stop for New Yorkers heading to and from the Island."

RUB BBQ will be open seven day per week and will be serving food from 11 a.m. until midnight.
