Russian Liturature & Opera Fans: Discussion on the Russian Opera "Eugene Onegin"

Lovers of Russian Literature and Russian Opera – this year the Metropolitan Opera is offering four Russian operas, all of which can be seen this season live from the  Met on specific dates in your local theaters. The first Russian opera offered is “Eugene Onegin”  based on the novel in verse by Alexander Pushkin.

Holy Trinity Parish will offer a discussion of the opera,  given by Dr. Constantine Kallaur, Professor Emeritus of Russian Language and  Literature, from a literary standpoint, and by Dr. Nicholas Reeves, Professor of  Choral Music at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Seminary, from a musical perspective.

All are welcome!  Questions:  Call 516-942-7841
