East Meadow’s Spumante Ristorante has been named an outstanding and authentic Italian restaurant by the Italian Chamber of Commerce (Ospitalita Italiana). Ospitalita Italiana, based in Italy, is an initiative which aims to certify authentic and quality Italian restaurants all over the world. The organization presented Spumante’s owner, Tony Cervasio, with the award at a special program this week.

In East Meadow, is known for its authentic and delicious Italian specialties such as Buratta, Shrimp Oreganata, Chicken Francese, Veal Sorrentino, Gnocchi Pomodoro and much more. Desserts are homemade by co-owner Tina Cervasio. Spumante offers a variety of daily specials as well as business lunches and early-bird specials.
