Spumante Restaurant (www.spumanteonline.com) was invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Italian Heritage Celebration of Long Island at the Nassau County Executive Building. The restaurant, owned by Tony and Tina Cervasio, shared tastes of its authentic Italian dishes with Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and other dignitaries. Food samples offered included homemade fusilli, made by Tony’s mother, Rosa, and homemade fresh mozzarella made by Tony’s brother, Pasquale. Spumante is located at 1650 Hempstead Tpke. in East Meadow.
