The new addition to
the Teddy Tennis summer
portfolio, designed to encourage young children to get active and learn to play
tennis, is scheduled to begin July 8, 2014 and run through to August 31, 2014
at The Physical Fitness Center, 17 Nassau Boulevard, Garden City, NY 11530.
Walter Giacometti, director of the program who made the
announcement, stated that the program was specifically designed for kids,
ranging in ages from two-and-a-half to six years.
“The new eight-week summer tennis program works by combining
music, pictures and teddy bear stories into a totally interactive learning adventure
that young children love,” said Walter, who noted the new Teddy Tennis program would
be held on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays from 11:15 a.m.to 12:00 p.m.

“Each child who participates in the program will receive a
Teddy Tennis T-shirt and Cub Card,” added Walter, who believes Teddy Tennis is
a fantastic new fun way to encourage children to get active and learn to play
tennis while also helping kids establish the basis of a healthy lifestyle by
making exercise and activity fun and involving.
