Third-Place Powerball Ticket Sold In East Meadow

EAST MEADOW, NY — It's not worth $2 billion, but a third-place Powerball ticket was sold in East Meadow for the Nov. 7 drawing.

Someone in California is walking away with $2 billion, but the ticket sold in East Meadow is worth $50,000, which isn't too shabby.

The ticket was sold at Rt. 24 Deli, located at 1820 Hempstead Turnpike.

The winning numbers were 10-33-41-47-56, with a Powerball of 10. The third-place ticket has four matching numbers, as well as the Powerball.

Winning tickets can be claimed up to a year from the date of the drawing.
