3 Teens Charged In Car Theft Spree: Police
Police chased down and caught the teens, who they say are responsible for a series of car thefts in the area.

Nassau police arrested three teens from Brooklyn early Monday morning who they say area responsible for a series of car thefts across the area over the last month.
According to police, officers responded to Surrey Drive in East Meadow for a call of three suspicious men around 3:40 a.m. When they arrived in the area, police saw three men flee on foot into the backyards of homes in the area. K9 units were called in, and the three men were tracked down to various backyards of homes on Bethlynn Court.
Police arrested Tziah Townsend, 18, of Livonia Avenue; Isaiah Feliciano, 16, of Watkins Street; and Omar McFarlane, 17, of Thatford Avenue.

According to police, the three were responsible for a series of car thefts in the area. Police say they stole a 2004 Ford Explorer from Michael Court in East Meadow on Sept. 18, as well as a 2014 Jeep, also from Michael Court. Police say they also stole a a 2012 Ford Explorer from 4th Street in Garden City on Sept. 14 and a Volkswagen Jetta from Sugar Maple Road in Levittown on Aug. 24.
McFarlane is charged with three counts of third-degree grand larceny, third-degree identity theft, third-degree criminal trespassing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, fourth- and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, fourth-degree grand larceny and three counts of petty larceny.

Townsend is charged with two counts of third-degree grand larceny, three counts of petty larceny, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree criminal trespassing.
Feliciano is charged with two counts of third-degree grand larceny, three counts of petty larceny, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree criminal trespassing.
All three are scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.
