Tobacco Stolen After Rock Hurled At East Meadow Store: Police
The man threw the rock through the front window and stole products from the shop, police say.

EAST MEADOW, NY — An East Meadow smoke shop was broken into on Wednesday afternoon, Nassau police said.
A man wearing a brown sweatshirt, black and white pants with a yellow shirt, threw a rock through the front window of Hempstead Convenience & Smoke, at 2125 Hempstead Turnpike, around 4:45 p.m., police said. He entered the business and stole tobacco products, police said. He fled in an unknown direction, police said. Detectives are looking for the man, who is wanted for burglary.
Detectives asked anyone with information regarding the break-in to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
