Uniondale School District School Launches School Year with Book Fair to Inspire Students to Read

The Uniondale School District hosts district-wide Back to School book fair to inspire students to read and build literacy skills.

The Uniondale School District recently hosted a district-wide Back to School book fair to inspire students to read and build their literacy skills. Several hundred students at Northern Parkway Elementary School and their parents came to the school’s library to buy age-appropriate books and interactive educational material. The Back to School Book Fair was one of the many events the Uniondale School District has coordinated throughout the 2016-2017 school year to encourage parents to participate in their children’s education by helping them develop a love of reading.
