Uniondale School District’s Pre-Kindergarten students recently practiced “Making Your Mark” after reading “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. “The Dot,” a story about a girl who discovers her creative spirit through art, inspired students to likewise make their marks on the world by expressing their thoughts and feelings artistically. Using brushes and finger paint, students created pictures to hang up throughout the classroom and take home to their parents.
