Last year I bough and planted a pear tree on my front lawn. This year I was so excited when I had about ten pears. Unfortunately only four made it but, I was still excited because I was going to eat fruit from my tree. Three weeks ago I noticed one gone and it wasn't on the ground. I thought to my self that it was strange because they aren't small enough to roll off my property. This morning the same thing. There is no way a pear the size of a Spaulding will roll across a grassy lawn and disappear.
If someone would knock on my door and ask if they could take a pear I would say yes. I don't know what makes people think they can simply take it off my tree on my property.
