Woodland Middle School Takes a Stand Against Bullying
Students participated in a "A Classroom of Difference" workshop to promote friendships and to stop bullying.

In an effort to stop bullying and promote friendship amongst students, members of the Social Emotional Literacy Committee at Woodland Middle School participated in “A Classroom of Difference” workshop.
The workshop was sponsored through a grant from the Anti-Defamation League. Students and teachers worked together for an entire school day and learned how to promote respect, inclusiveness and civility by addressing issues of bullying and cyber-bullying.
The workshop focused on the students’ ability to become “allies” to one another by reacting to name-calling or bullying.
