1 Dead, 4 Injured In Suffolk Crash: Police
The front-seat passenger of a car filled with five people was killed when the driver hit a cement barrier, police say.
EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — A Floral Park man was killed, and four other people were injured, in a crash in East Farmingdale early Sunday, Suffolk police said.
A 22-year-old New Hyde Park man was driving a 2018 BMW, exiting from westbound Route 109 to southbound Route 110 when his vehicle struck a cement barrier around 3:40 a.m., police said.
Brandon Nazirbage, 22, who was in the front passenger seat, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital to be treated. Three men seated in the back of the BMW were all brought to local hospitals for treatment of injuries that are not life-threatening, police said.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
