14-Year-Old Injured In E-Bike Crash In Farmingdale: Police
The boy was riding an e-bike on Main Street when he struck an SUV, police say.
FARMINGDALE, NY — A 14-year-old boy on an e-bike was injured after he struck an SUV in Farmingdale Wednesday night, police said.
At about 9:46 p.m., the boy was riding an e-bike southbound on Main Street when he went through a red light and struck a 2011 Honda SUV that was traveling eastbound on Conklin Street, Nassau County police said.
The boy suffered a broken femur and was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment, police said.

According to police, the driver of the Honda stayed on the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
