2 Cars Crash In Nassau, Drivers Get Trapped

BETHPAGE, NY — Two cars got into a head-on collision Friday morning in Bethpage, according to officials.

A Honda Odyssey and Subaru Impreza crashed into each other on Hicksville Road at 11:09 a.m., prompting a response from the Bethpage Fire Department and Nassau County Police. Both drivers were trapped in their cars. Emergency crews used multiple hydraulic tools to free the drivers, who were then brought to Nassau University Medical Center.

Hicksville Road was closed in both directions from Union Avenue to Boundary Avenue while police investigate.
