2 Missing Farmingdale Boys Found OK, Police Say

Updated as of 9:30 p.m. Saturday: Jude Kessler, 13, and Jacob Mendoza, 12, both of Farmingdale, who had been missing since Friday morning, were found OK on Saturday, Nassau police said. Below is the original story:

FARMINGDALE, NY — Two Farmingdale boys were reported missing sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. Friday, Nassau police said. The boys are believed to be together, police said.

Jude Kessler, 13, and Jacob Mendoza, 12, were last seen on foot traveling westbound on Richard Street, police said.

Kessler was described by police as Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what he was wearing.

Mendoza was described by police as Hispanic, 4 feet 5 inches tall, and 110 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. His clothing description is also unknown.
