5 $1 Million Powerball Winners Sold in New York

No one in New York hit the $1.6 billion jackpot in Wednesday's drawing, but many will take home prizes ranging from $50,000 to $1 million.

New York wasn’t among the luckiest states in Wednesday night’s historic $1.6 billion jackpot Powerball drawing: that honor goes to California, Florida and Tennessee, where jackpot-winning tickets were sold, but more than 80 New Yorkers will take home prizes ranging from $50,000 to $1 million.

Here are the winning numbers: 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and Powerball number 10.

Five tickets worth a cool $1 million were sold in the Empire State, including three in Queens and one on Long Island. Those winners matched 5 of 6 numbers, missing just the Powerball number. Here is where those winning tickets were sold:

In last Saturday’s Powerball drawing, 10 Long Islanders won prizes between $50,000 and $1 million. Those winning locations were announced on Monday.
