5 Veterans To Be Buried At Long Island National Cemetery
Five veterans, who didn't have families, will be buried at the Long Island National Cemetery.

FARMINGDALE, NY—Five veterans will be buried at the Long Island National Cemetery with the assistance of the Missing in America Project on Thursday afternoon, the Office of Faith Formation of the Diocese of Rockville Centre announced.
The burial will take place on Thursday, July 11 at 1 p.m. The five veterans being honored had no families, with some of them having been homeless. The gathering will take place at the main flagpole in the cemetery. Anyone from the public is invited to attend.
The cemetery is located at 2040 Wellwood Ave. It borders East Farmingdale along its western edge and is located within Wyandanch (to the east), in the Town of Babylon, and Melville (to the north) in the Town of Huntington.
