73-Year-Old Bethpage Man Found OK: Police

Updated 10 a.m. Wednesday: BETHPAGE, NY — Jose Ocana, 73, of Bethpage, was found unharmed, Nassau police said Tuesday evening. He had been missing since Sunday afternoon and was seen in the Bronx, according to police.

Original story: BETHPAGE, NY — An elderly Bethpage man went missing Sunday afternoon, the Nassau County Police Department said. Jose Ocana, 73, went missing at 4:30 p.m. and was last seen on Bruckner Boulevard in the Bronx.

Police described Ocana as a white Hispanic man, 5 feet 8 inches, around 190 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. His clothing description is unknown. Ocana is "vulnerable," police said.
