Amazon Delivery Van And Car Collide In Nassau, Car Driver Trapped

Both drivers were brought to Nassau University Medical Center, one in serious condition.

BETHPAGE, NY — An Amazon delivery van and car collided Tuesday night in Bethpage, according to officials. Bethpage Fire Department and Nassau County Police went to Grumman Road West around 9:20 p.m.

The car was mangled, with the driver trapped inside. Emergency crews worked together to remove both doors and the center post of the Honda to get the driver out. Both drivers were brought to Nassau University Medical Center, one in serious condition.

The roadway was closed in both directions.
