Free Concert Series Brings Music To Oyster Bay Libraries This May

From '80s hits to country favorites, Long Islanders can enjoy live performances across 3 locations.

TOWN OF OYSTER BAY, NY — Local libraries will be hosting free concerts in May, from '80s hits to country favorites.

The free concerts are part of the Distinguished Artists Concert Series, providing free musical and dance programs for residents.

The Farmingdale Public Library will feature the Arlington Drive on Saturday, May 2, at 2 p.m. with classic rock, country, and music from the '80s and '90s.

The Massapequa Public Library will host Gathering Time on Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. with songs of hope, freedom, and conscience.

The Jericho Public Library will be blending modern country and traditional country classics with Rusty Spur on Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m. The event is open to all for free, but free tickets are required for entry. For more information, contact the library at 516-935-6790.

Oyster Bay Town Councilman Steve Labriola encourages residents "to take advantage of these wonderful performances offered by the Town for free at local libraries."
