Happy Father’s Day! Anyone who knows me is aware that I am an anti-bullying advocate. Therefore, I am excited to introduce you to the work of Author Dave Freeman.
In May 2014, Mr. Freeman released the second book in his Mushroom Tales Children’s’ series. In my opinion, these books belong in every nursery and elementary school library.

Mushroom Tales-Volume 2: Bullies! Where do they come from and how long will they stay?” is a motivational Children’s Picture Book with colorful Mushroom characters and a story in rhyming verse. Each Mushroom Tale features a single message, intended to be a conversation starter, a reading primer and a vocabulary builder.
“Bullies!” talks about the very real issue of being bullied, while showing that there are often simple and effective solutions to a Bully Problem. Children will learn that Bully Solutions are available and that by finding their own personal solution they may also help a Bully solve his or her own problem.

Dave Freeman has been a Builder, a Manager, a Salesman, an Entrepreneur, a Radio Announcer, a Marketing Expert and a Personal Advocate for Spanish-speaking individuals with English-Only speaking antagonists (www.AyudameGringo.com). With a host of memories about life's little challenges filed away in a mental journal, it seems that many of those experiences tend to bring to mind a lesson, a smile and many times a laugh out loud moment.
Writer Dave and his Illustrator wife, Connie share an unwavering faith and an appreciation of such important concepts as KINDNESS, RESPECT, PATIENCE, HONESTY, CONSIDERATION, TRUST and FORGIVENESS. By practicing what they teach in their motivational children's book series, Mushroom Tales, Dave and Connie have found a new goal.
