Bail Reform Laws To Be Discussed At Farmingdale Town Hall
Two Nassau legislators and president of the Nassau County Correction Officers Benevolent Association are hosting a forum and Q&A session.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Nassau County Legislators James D. Kennedy and Rose Marie Walker will be joined by Lieutenant Brian Sullivan, president of the Nassau County Correction Officers Benevolent Association, at 7 p.m. March 12 to discuss and field questions on New York State's bail reform laws. The two-hour meeting will be held at the South Farmingdale Fire Department at 819 Main St., Farmingdale, next Thursday.
The town hall is meant to help residents understand the new criminal justice system and what the organizers referred to as bail "reforms" implemented by the State on Jan. 1.
Kennedy asks people who wish for more information on the event to contact him. He can be reached at 516-571-6212 or jkennedy@nassaucountyny.gov.
