The 'New' Method to Organization
You do not have to organize every aspect of your life in order to feel in control.
Everyone strives for organization in their life one way or another. However, with limited time and busy schedules, organization can be a daunting task.
In the past all the books and articles talked about the “old” method to organization. Organization meant that you had to organize every aspect of your life in order to be organized. If you are anything like me and are short on time, then the “new” method might just be what you need.
The idea behind the “new” method is to focus on the priority or the area that needs to be organized the most. So for instance, let’s say you need to organize your office but you are short on time. Instead of spending hours on every area of your office, just organize your desk area. File important papers away, throw out unnecessary papers and notes, create a “to do list” etc. Then when you find some more free time, tackle the other areas of the office if needed.

The “new” method will help you acknowledge that even the smallest step in your organization task force will pay off in you feeling more in control and confident. I have been told by many people that when they are organized they have more peace of mind and a calmer outlook. When it’s time for some organization and you are short on time, opt for the “new” method.
