Businesses Broken Into In Farmingdale And Bethpage: Police
A laundromat and hair salon were broken into, police say.
FARMINGDALE, NY — Two businesses were broken into on Saturday: a laundromat in Farmingdale and a hair salon in Bethpage, Nassau police said.
The back door was pried open at Best Image Hair Salon, at 505 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, before 4:10 a.m., police said. A burglar stole $200 from the register, police said.
The back door of Farmingdale Village Laundromat, at 145 Main St., Farmingdale, was also pried open before 4:55 a.m., police said. The cash register was smashed, and $1,000 was nabbed, police said.

Detectives asked anyone with information regarding the break-ins to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or to call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
