Car Stuck On LIRR Tracks In Farmingdale, Woman Arrested On DWI Charges: MTAPD
The incident caused delays to three Ronkonkoma Branch trains early Sunday morning, officials say.
FARMINGDALE, NY — A Whitestone woman was arrested after her car became stuck on the Long Island Rail Road tracks in Farmingdale on Sunday, officials said.
On Aug. 16 at about 1:48 a.m., 34-year-old Evelyn Luna's car became stuck on the tracks at the Clinton Ave. crossing west of the LIRR Farmingdale Station, the MTA Police Department said.
The car did not make contact with LIRR trains, and it was removed at about 3:03 a.m., the MTAPD said.

Luna was arrested on charges related to driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to the MTAPD.
The MTA said three Ronkonkoma Branch trains were delayed, and regular service resumed at 3:54 a.m.
