Are you getting ready for the Winter wrestling season?
Chances are you are getting into shape to get better. Here are a few secrets of the Pros
1) It only takes 21 days to build a good foundation. When we have so many thing to work on, it doesn't make sense to spend months getting into shape when 3 weeks is all you'll need.
2) Mix up the methods. Wrestling requires a variety of different energy needs. Quick bursts, long slow endurance, and the ability to recover quickly. If you are spending your time doing only one method you are missing a key piece!
3) Cardio isn't all you need. Power endurance and strength endurance are important as well. If you haven't spent time under the bar to work on your strength or power, you'll just be good at surviving a match, not dominating one.
